In operating conditions where extremely high temperatures prevail, teflon filter bags can be the ideal choice. While Nomex filter bags are generally used at continuous operating temperatures up to 200 degrees, Teflon filter bags can increase this temperature up to 260 degrees.
Teflon filter bags with multifilament PTFE inner fabric are resistant to high temperatures thanks to these features. However, their weight (with 750 grams/square meter) is also higher compared to other filter bags. Acid, alkali, hydrolysis, solvent and oxide resistance are excellent.
